WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE NEW AGE DEFY FACIAL OIL?
We’ve had to do a reformulation on our recently released advanced facial oil so you will notice the new formulation is different. It is the same lightweight, silky consistency and contain the same ingredients except with added cold-pressed blueberry seed oil.
I won’t go into detail about the existing ingredients because you can refer to my previous posts here:
- Bakuchiol, the vegan, natural ingredient clinically proven to behave like retinol on skin
- Vitamin C in stabilised tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate form with potentially better penetration
- Olive Squalane - Rich skin emollient with studies showing it is a beneficial skin treatment oil
So why blueberry seed oil you may ask?
When formulating the original Age Defy Facial Oil, I wanted to make an advanced targeting facial oil jam packed with essential fatty acids that are vital for helping skin barrier function and also powerful antioxidants to help fight free radicals and environmental stressors which are the main cause of ageing in your skin.
Blueberries are long recognised for their potential health benefits - they are a powerful antioxidant and have been known to naturally shield against blue light exposure!
Blueberry Seed oil is lightweight and when combined with olive squalane, is very quickly absorbed into your skin so your skin doesn't feel greasy.
